Women's Initiative : Dinner

The HKN Women's Initiative organizes two dinners each year - once during the fall semester and once during the spring semester - for freshmen women to learn about the MIT Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EECS) Department. The objective of the dinners is to provide a relaxed, non-academic environment that allows students the opportunity to meet and mingle with other women who have the same interests in EECS. The dinners provide a comfortable setting for freshmen women to engage in conversation with female EECS upperclassmen women, alumnae, and faculty, all of whom are availabe to answer questions, share experiences, and provide advice and encouragement for women interested in studying EECS.
